BARCELONA SCANDINAVIAN CHOIR
aN english speaking choir singing pop, soul, swing!
Barcelona Scandinavian Choir is a female choir that sings popular music lead by professional vocal coach, choir leader and singer Anna Hultén from Sweden. The classes are held in English and the majority of the music is also sung in English. The idea is that the choir can be a cultural melting pot, and therefore welcome singers with any nationality! At this moment we have singers from Sweden, Norway, Russia, Finland, Spain, Czech Republic and United states.
Some harmony singing experience is a plus but not a must, as we will sing pop, soul and jazz in 2-3 harmonies accompanied by piano, resulting in a small performance at the end of trimester. Anna creates most of the choir arrangements and they are specifically tailor made for the choir. In being a professional vocal coach, Anna also gives very good constructive feedback regarding singing technique and other tools for vocal improvement during the rehearsal. We also focus on timing, vocal sound, expression and of course: the joy of singing!

JOIN THE CHOIR - NEXT TRIMESTER STARTS APRIL 10!
Every trimester contains of 12 sessions, where one is a performance. We start next trimester April 10 and you are ALWAYS welcomed to a trial session. Our rehearsals are at Centre Civic Tomasa Cuevas, Les Corts on Thursdays 19.00-20.30 - feel free to join in! New singers will do a short and individual audition.
The trimesters start in September, January and April. You are always welcome to try a session with us!
